With a history of captivating audiences into the thousands, her act continues to get the crowd cheering, screaming, laughing, dancing and even crying with her uncanny resemblance to Janis Joplin - both vocally and visually. Her show has been the highlight for Summer Of Love/Woodstock and sixties theme parties for corporate events in the United States and Canada traveling as far as San Francisco to play the Ritz Carlton for a large convention that was featured in a segment on CNBC news. A perfect fit at music and blues festivals, Krista has shared the same stage as blues legend Buddy Guy, opened for Canada's own 'Lighthouse' at the Port Credit Jazz & Blues Festival and headlined the Canadian National Exhibition (Canada's Largest Fair). In 2007 received amazing on-air reviews for her Janis Joplin Tribute as part of Q107's Rock & Soul Saturday nights at Jeff Healey's Nightclub in Toronto. She has also worked with The Casino Brothers as part of a legends style show with some of North America's top Tribute Artists. In 2008 Krista received the Transformation Award at Florida's Sunburst Convention of Tribute Artists. Her strong impact in Florida led to a nomination for a 2009 Reel Awards in Las Vegas for the Rising Star category honoring the industries best celebrity impressionists.
