Bringing rooms to life with her fun persona, versatile vocals and ability to connect with her audience, Krista is always having fun on stage and it shows! With experience playing at many of the GTA's hottest live clubs and Ontario resorts, upscale hotels and banquet halls and popular festivals for over a decade, Krista and her band know what it takes to make a performance memorable and a great party! Her band is comprised of a great group of high caliber players who have a strong musical backgrounds. Bassist Paul Cafarelli has been working with Krista over the years since the bands inception in 1997 and has played five-star hotels in Asia and resorts in the US. Guitarist Dave Bayley has played heavily within the wedding and corporate band circuit as well as backing various celebrity impersonators at theatres and special events. Drummer Bruce McCarthy has performed on cruiseships, at theme park shows and on television specials. Additional musicians who take part in Krista's various musical ensembles you may have heard performing at Mirvish Theatres, Canadian Idol and Stage West or backing popular recording artists in Canada and the USA. In The Clubs Krista's club band operates as Krista plus guitar, bass & drums. They play rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's and today, some R&B/Funk and even some country and disco (if it's suitable), but generally her club show has more of a rock edge. The crowd will enjoy hits from Rod Stewart, Heart, Joe Cocker, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Evanescence, The Eagles, Power Station, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Matchbox 20 and more all in one night! Weddings & Corporate Events Since most weddings have an age range from 8-80 years old, Krista sings a bit of everything to please all the guests. From Frank Sinatra, to Patsy Cline and Elvis to James Brown, Donna Summers, Stevie Wonder, to Gwen Stafani the dance floor is always full of life! In most cases she also adds either a piano or saxophone player to her 4-piece band, depending on the clients preference and musical tastes.
